Research, and Training Centre organised a felicitation ceremony for the Awardee of Indo Thailand Dalit Sahitya Conference Award, 2018 at Langjing Achouba Awang Leikai Community Hall on Wednesday.

The awardees who were felicitated are Dr Mayengbam Kamala Devi (Dr BR Ambedkar International Award-2018), TM Rajen Ayangba, and Ksh Subadini (Lifetime Achievement International Award-2018), Konthoujam Gita Devi, Sanjenbam Ashok Kumar Singh, Thounaojam Ashakiran Devi, Takhelmayum Takhelyangba, Salam Probiyapati Devi, Wahengbam Lily Devi and Oinam Shanta Devi (Indo Thailand Friendship International Award-2018), Langpoklakpam Geeta Devi, Laimayum Ranjana Devi and Moirangthem Baby Devi (International Achievers Award-2018).Indo Thailand Dalit Sahitya Conference Award, 2018 was held on August 30 at Nasa Vegas Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

The award was organised by the Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur, India in collaboration with Indo Thailand Dalit Sahitya Conference-2018.Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Dr Thokchom Meinya attended the function as chief guest, advisor of KAATTRTC as president, Pradhan of Langjing Gram Panchayat Mongjam Romen Singh, Member of Langjing GP (Ward No 1) Thoudam Thamacha Devi, National secretary of Dalit Sahitya Academy, India Mahendrakumar Singh, president of All Manipur Dalit Sahitya Association, Manipur T M Rajen Ayangba, president of Lamjing Meira Club Langjing Awang Leikai Atom Damu Singh, president of Women Welfare Association Langjing Achouba Keisham Kundolei Devi and vice president of Western Star Club Langjing Achouba i-oitongbam Debakanta attended as guests of honour.
