S Ningkhalem ready to serve people by providing free accommodation at Ukhrul town

A family in Ukhrul town has resolved and committed to provide free accommodation to economically poor background and handicap person who have come for medical treatment at Ukhrul in their residential house called "Blessed Home", report our correspondent.
Speaking to our correspondent, the owner of the house S Ningkhalem, while revealing her true intention to serve people, said that the "Blessed Home" is reserved for handicap persons and underprivileged people who have been seeking shelter in Ukhrul town from across the state.
She added that there are five rooms at Alungtang, Ukhrul at present which is open for 24 hours for accommodation and one can book the room in advance through mobile number 8731991571.She also shared her bitter experiences in life and numerous challenges she faced that have changed her mind and shifted towards humanitarian services for the welfare of the impoverished people.
She continued that she has three sons who are all handicap in different ways although they were not born handicap and added that her second son got a severe electric shock while the eldest son suffered from mental retardation and her youngest son met with an accident and is now bedridden.
She recounted that her family incurred maximum expenditure in accommodation while undergoing treatment at different hospital.
The bitter experience and the hardship faced by her family which is beyond their capacity has left a deep rooted mark in her mind that she is now prepared to extend her services further to minimize the expenses incurred on treatment for economically poor families, she added.
While reposing her faith in God and asking for strength to reach out to all needy persons S Ningkhalem a woman in her early fifties is working as Council school teachers and expressed her willingness to undertake more services for the good of the people and wished for love to one another for peaceful co-existence of all communities in the State.
