Structural reforms effected in UKLF

Imphal, February 15, 2013:
Following a Cabinet meeting held as part of its annual assembly recently, United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has effected a major structural reformation.
In this regard, Information and Publicity Secretary of UKLF JM Thadou informed that previously UKLF was under the overall headship of the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) but from this year onward, the operation of the organization shall be carried out by a chairman and the post of C-in-C shall also be in the hands of the chairman.
Accordingly, SS Haokip, the erstwhile C-in-C, was appointed as the chairman cum C-in-C of the organization.
Henceforth, he shall be addressed as Chairman of UKLF, Govt of Khulmigam, in all official and practical purposes, JM Thadou said in a statement.
Along with the major change, some posts and portfolios of the officials of the organization reshuffled.
Accordingly, David Haokip is the new General Secretary cum Education Officer; NC.
Baite is the Home Secretary; Joshua Thadou is the Secretary of External Affairs cum Finance Secretary; Daniel Thadou is the Project Officer; Kennedy Thadou is the Defence Secretary cum C.O.; Jacob Thadou is the Chairman of JMG(of UKLF); Anthony Thadou is the Spokesman; JM.Thadou is the Info & Publicity Secretary; Capt.
Jack Thadou is the Deputy C.O and Lt.George Zou is the Deputy Secretary of External Affairs.
Normally, the posts and portfolios of the officials of UKLF is changeable and the above given posts and portfolios shall remain until further change is affected, the statement added.
