Imphal, September 18 2014:
With the main goal set to create an Art Museum where art lovers can come and have a little recreation, D.Elanglam (named after the team founder), a team of young beginners in the field of creative art showcased their creative art form, named "Midnight Sketch" for the first time in the state at Manipur Press Club, Imphal here today.
Led by founder Dinesh Elangbam, the team, though intermittent, has been working actively on acquiring inspirations from different sources and trying to create an eclectic themed artistic output since the birth of the Art.

"Midnight Sketch is a form of creative art where an image of the artist's choice or synthesis is being exposed on the surface of a smooth wooden plank by carving it and filling it with a hard and glossy back substance which withstands both cold and high temperature", maintained Dinesh while interacting with media persons today.
He further said that the art form is solely the artist's handiwork with handmade tools and no machines are used in the process.
The sketch is shiny enough to reflect light and its lustre remains intact throughout.
He also told that the product would not break even if it accidentally stumbles upon or fall, nor it will lose its sparkle even when contacted with water.
"The specialty of the Art is that in the midst dim light hours of the mid-night and blurry-vision, the Actual Recognizable Image becomes clear", Dinesh added.
The artist Dinesh Elangbam was born on February 25, 1987 to (L) Elangbam Pralada Singh and Elangbam (O) Ibempishak Devi from Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai and is a Graduate in Information Technology (IT) from Manipur University (2011) .
