Don Bosco Hr Sec, Senapati opens literary Meet'

The 2 days Annual Literaty Meet, 2019 of the Don Bosco Hr Sec School, Senapati opened yesterday at its schoolpremise.
The inaugural function was attended by James Hau, vice-president of the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) and Maningba Chawang, finance secy, SDSA as Ihe guests of honour.
Teaching staff and students of the school were also present in fee function.
Delivering the welcome note, Fr William Nepuni, principal of the school thanked the 2 student leaders for their concern towards the upliftment of the student community under their leadership.
James Hau, vice-president, SDSA while congratulating the school authority for producing toppers in the Higher Secondary examination conducted by the COHSEM, said that the school has brought pride to the district He also said that the students come to the school with a purpose and asked the students to stick to their hobby and make it a habit.
He continued that teachers and parents play big role in shaping the lives of a student but it is upto to the students in which way they wantto move ahead in life adding that teachers show the right route and taught the best lessons to make them learned persons while parents supported during their studies.
Each student must laboured hard to reach their goals, added the student leader.
Maningba Chawang, finance secy, SDSA in his speech said that he also studied in the same school and asked fee students to maintain discipline while assuring to extend assistance in every possible way to the school if any.
The 2 days meet will witness Choral competitions, floweis show, western dance, solo and debate competitions.
Later, principal of fee school also mentioned of fee upcoming BA Arts classes to be opened in fee coming session At present, fee school has 396 students in total studying in Aits, Science and Commerce streams in class XII .
