Run for 'Cleanest DHQs' motivates KWCare

Kanggui We Care (KWCare) conducted a cleanliness drive in Kangpokpi District Headquarters this morning where members of the voluntary organization cleaned the sidewalk of Trans Asian Highway No 1 passing through the town.
KWCare is a non-political, non-profitable voluntary organization spearheading sanitary campaign at Kangpokpi District Headquarters ever since the declaration of Districthood in 2016.It was established to prop up the habit of hygienic living among the people dwelling in the District Headquarters.
Coordinators of KWCare had resolved in its meeting held week before today's cleanliness drive to restart its campaign for cleanliness in the town and subsequently began the cleanliness drive along with its members this morning.
Hundreds of KWCare members including its coordinators congregated at 6 am this morning near Post Office Kangpokpi and began cleaning up litters, garbage, etc, along the sidewalk of Trans Asian Highway No 1 that passes through the town from the Bridge near Elite Hr Sec School to the upper bridge near SP Kangpokpi office while some voluntary members were also seen sweeping the road.
Information and Publicity Secretary of KWCare, Kb Chongloi said that every initiatives of KWCare is out of voluntary service towards "Clean and Hygienic Kanggui" anticipating the 'Cleanest District Headquarters" among many others in the State while pioneering hygienic living as a culture of the Kangguian.
He continued that as per the coordinator's meeting resolution, the cleanliness drive will be organized every Saturday morning at different locations within the town while adding that next cleanliness drive will be organized between IT Road and crossroads of DC office along the Trans Asian Highway No 1 .
KWCare also appealed to the people of Kangpokpi DHQs to run for achieving the 'Cleanest District Headquarters' in the State while maintaining hygienic and healthy ways of living not only within their respective campus but more particularly in public places like bazar areas.
It also urged the general public irrespective of ages, gender, communities, etc, to come forward for cause of 'Cleanest District Headquarters' and enthusiastically participate in the cleanliness drive while supporting the initiative of KWCare keeping in mind the future objective of achieving the title of 'Cleanest District Headquarters" .
