Imphal, March 06 2016:
Veteran politician and former Minister Dr Nimaichand
Luwang has today announced
before the gathering
that he
would contest in the next Assembly election on BJP ticket.
Speaking at the political conference cum public meeting
organised by BJP Wangkhem Mandal at Yairipok
Bishnunaha, Dr Nimaichand Luwang said that BJP would
triumph in the next Assembly election and form a Gov-
ernment.
Out of the 60 Assembly seats, more than 300 individu-
als from all the ACs would be vying for BJP tickets for
the next State Assembly election, Dr Nimaichand Luwang
said.
Congress Government which is run by money power
would surely be defeated in the election.
People have come
to realization that the Congress-led State Government is
more concern in filling their Minister' and MLAs' pockets
instead of bringing development in the State.
After spend-
ing several crores of rupees for cleaning Loktak Lake, no
distinct change in the lake has been witnessed by the
people, charged Dr Nimaichand Luwang.
"Buildings constructed by the Congress Government
have suffered damages during the January 4 earthquake.
Assigned contractors had no way but to bend and repeat-
edly apologize before the public," he alleged.
People of the State would surely take BJP to the path
of victory in the next State Assembly election while Con-
gress would get to taste its bitter fruit, Dr Nimaichand
Luwang claimed.
