Robert Naorem showcases Unity of Community in Bangalore Fashion Week

Celebrity stylist and designer Robert Naorem showcased an ethnic blend of styles from different communities of Manipur at the 10th Bridal Festive of Bangalore Fashion Week held at Oterra Hotel, Electronic City, Bengaluru yesterday.
The event sent a message to emphasize on eco-friendly fabrics and also to promote the traditional' way of weaving and inspiring the youth to give importance to traditional textile.
Meanwhile, the showstopper of the fashion event was Indian U-17 star Dheeraj Moirangthem, conveyed a press release issued by Robert Naorem Studio & Academy.
The 19th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week also wrapped up yesterday which showcased different styles and electric tastes of some of the leading as well as budding designers of India.
It stated that the three day event was an amalgation of diversity, creativity and vigour and a platform to showcase the finest winter festive collection.
According to a source, the event is powered by online style destination Wear.Style and featured 26 runway shows and 25 designers' creations.
The collection of Robert Naorem were inspired by the cultural diversity of Manipur and the outfits included those of Kuki, Naga, Tangkhul, Kabui and Meitei communities, it stated.
He blended fabrics of different communities as a symbol of unity, love and introducing an ethnic style of fashion.
The press statement further stated that Robert Naorem was the only designer from North East who participated at the Bangalore Fashion Week.
