The association also resolved to reaffirm their stand for removal of the present VC of Manipur University and forming of an independent judicial enquiry commission set up under the Commission of Enquiry Act, 1952.The association further resolved to appeal to the State Government to resolve the' current impasse, take disciplinary action against the officer who ordered the police assault today and not to resort to insulting the sanctity of the University in the future.
