Out of four persons who have been asked to surrender by the proscribed RPF/PLA in connection with its drive against selling and consumption of tobacco products launched on May 6, one of the accused gave in to the outfit today.
The surrenderee identified as Ngairangbam Bikram (32) s/o late Ngairangbam Bijoy of Singjamei Bheigyapati Leikai was paraded before mediapersons somewhere in the valley area today.
Bikram was reportedly found selling Mithamana, Talab and Zarda in defiance of the ban imposed by the outfit during a drive launched on May 6.The outfit had also asked the three other accused to surrender within five days.
However, only Bikram has responded and surrendered to RPF/PLA in time.
