Revenue Minister distributes appointment orders to die-in-harness applicants

Imphal, February 23 2019:
Revenue Minister Karam Shyam distributed appointment orders to more than 20 deserving candidates who have applied under the die-in-harness scheme in the Revenue Department.
He gave away the appointment orders to the candidates in a press conference held today at his Old Secretariat office after clearing 37 out of a total of 101 applicants after proper scrutiny, screening and strict verification.
Appointment orders for the post of Mandol, jilladar, stenographer and LDC posts in the Grade III category and process server and peon posts in the Grade IV category were given to the candidates.
Speaking at the press meet, Karam Shyam stated that the Government understands the sufferings of such applicants who usually belong to deprived families and constantly face the hurdles of bribe and bargain in different forms in connection with pending file processes.
The Minister also assured transparency in disposing the pending files.
Commissioner CAF & PD, Revenue T Ranjit, Joint Secretary Revenue, Y Raj en and Undersecretary Ph Bhavananda Sharma also attended the function.
