Irom Sharmila calls CM, O Ibobi an undemocratic leader

"Chief Minister of Manipur Okram Ibobi Singh is an undemocratic leader of a democratic state", Irom Chanu Sharmila, who has been undergoing fast unto death for 11 years now demanding repeal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958, has denounced.
Sharmila was talking to mediapersons while being brought to the court of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class (JMIC), Imphal East at Lamphel for reappearance on completion of the period of her judicial custody today.
Sharmila observed that denial of permission by the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh led government to the representatives of various civil organizations, who recently undertook a march from Srinagar to Imphal, to meet her was most unfortunate and is tantamount to depriving the democratic rights of the people.
It has also shown that Chief Minister Okram Ibobi is afraid.

Sharmila also pledged to continue with her struggle till the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, denounced by many as draconian, is repealed.
Later, after being produced before the court of JMIC, Imphal East, Sharmila was remanded to judicial for 15 days.
