Moreh school on the brink of extinction

Observing that the school is on the brink of extinction due to absence of a regular principal, Chairman of School Management Committee Onjamang Haokip has demanded posting of a regular Principal at Moreh Government Higher Secondary School at the earliest possible.
Speaking to Hueiyen Lanpao, Onjamang pointed out that Moreh is a border town where people of different communities are residing peacefully and many students, whose parents could not afford to send them to other places, are studying in this school.
However, absence of a regular Principal has become a major hindrance in the development and management of the school.
In this regard, many parents have also pressed the school management committee for prevailing upon the government for posting a regular Principal, he informed, adding that the Committee would be submitting a memorandum to the Principal Secretary, Education (S) and Education Minister in this regard very soon.
