Chief Minister Ibobi leaves to attend Internal Security meeting

Imphal, April 15 2012:
Chief Minister O Ibobi has left for Delhi today to attend the Internal Security meeting scheduled tomorrow.
The meeting is expected to be attended by Chief Ministers of all states.
Home Minister of Manipur Gaikhangam, who is also President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, already left for the National capital on April 12 to connection with the said meeting.
According to reliable source, Home Minister Gaikhangam was accompanied by MLA Kh Ratankuymar and MLA Amin Shah.
His departure for Delhi way ahead of the scheduled meeting on Internal Security would ample time for discussing with the Congress High Command issues related to expansion of the Ibobi Ministry.
It has been reported that Gaikhangam has already met AICC Supremo Sonia Gandhi and put forward the desires of Chief Minister O Ibobi with regard to expansion of his Ministry.
Gaikhangam also submitted a written application to the AICC for his resignation from the post of the President of MPCC.
It is said that Gaikhangam even proposed the name of a Congress MLA whom he thinks is fit to occupy the post of President of MPCC.
