Imphal, January 11 2021:
Assam Rifles organised Medical camp at Gamphazol in Chandel district today.
The medical camp was organised to cater to the basic medical needs of the locals as the villagers face problems due to lack of basic healthcare facilities and qualified health workers, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.
The absence of a Primary Health Centre & poor condition of roads amplified the requirement of conducting the medical camp which saw overwhelming response from the locals to benefit from the free medicines and basic healthcare treatment which was provided by Chief Medical Officer Moreh Bn and the medical staff present at the medical camp, added the statement.

and AR will continue to establish such medical camps in the near future making basic healthcare accessible to the locals in all remote locations, added the statement.
All the beneficiaries of this Medical Camp, villagers of Gamphazol area and village chiefs expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the Assam Rifles and the village chief handed over an appreciation letter to Assam Rifles for the noble work during the challenging times, further added the statement.
