JAC Against the Wrongful Arrest and Detention of Titus Kamei submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister demanding the release of Kamei without any condition.
The memorandum jointly signed by chairmen of Nungba Bazaar Planning and Control Committee, Nungba Village Authority, Kaikho and Sempang, convenor of Nungba area, president of Nungba Area Women Society and a member of Nungba Village Authority also demanded the case now pending before the vigilance SP be handed over to CBI immediately in order to ensure an impartial enquiry.
The memorandum also warned that the JAC would resort to different forms of agitation if their demand is not met within three days.
