Imphal, March 08 2016:
Hill districts have been deprived of all the basic necessities
which contribute to the development and well being of the area.
Justified opportunities and development are the things we want,
asserted NPF, Manipur State Unit president Awangbou
Newmai during a political conference of NPF at Chandel dis-
trict HQs.
"Lack of growth in all the spheres has always been the
part of hill districts of Manipur.
Grievances of the people
are neglected.
Therefore, the only way to make their voices
heard is to resort to bandh.
People in some hill areas are
still using the bridges and roads constructed by the Britishers
during the colonial rule.
Changes, development and justice
are the things hill areas of the State require," Awangbou
Newmai said.
MLS St Nunglung Victor said that NPF, Manipur State
Unit MLAs are considered as unarmed NSCN members.
NPF has never discussed of breaking the integrity of the
State.
It is the Meiteis who have been plotting to break the
integrity.
The political conference was also attended by NPF leader
L Dikho, NPF, Chandel Division Unit president Ts
Molarshing, NPF, Chandel Division Unit vice-president
