'Vanijya Saptah' organised

The Exporter's Conclave which was held as a part of 'Vanijya Saptah' at Classic Grande concluded successfully yesterday, said a press release issued by Director General of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), Dr Rakesh Kumar.
It may be noted that the event was inaugurated by Chief Minister N Biren Singh on September 21 .
Director General of EPCH further informed that during the celebration, various events have been organized to showcase India's exports and its potential at each State/UT to highlight the progress of the State in the last 75 years, to promote products and services exported from the country and spread awareness of the support provided to exporters by the State Government at all levels and formation of roadmap ahead to achieve India's export potential.
All Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) are assigned a particular State/UT for organising 'Vanijya Saptah', he added.
He also stated that the Exporter's Conclave was organised to identify the products with export potential from the districts including panel discussions to identify issues faced by the exporters and stockholders discussion/strategies to improve export from the districts.
The event which was organized in association with Regional DGFT & DIC, will help to boost export from the State and also encourage other potential entrepreneurs to start export business and reach out to global markets, he continued.
