Polling personnel dispatched

Polling personnel for 40-Jiribam AC have been dispatched for their respective polling stations today along with EVM machine and other poll materials from DC office, Patchao for election duty in the 17th Lok Sabha election for Outer Parliamentary Constituency of Manipur to be held tommorow.
Altogether, 200 polling personnel including 10 women will man the election in 40-Jiribam AC tommorow.
Out of the 27,379 voters registered in Jiribam AC, 13,230 are female voters and the 14,149 are male voters and will cast their vote in 40 polling stations including 2 polling stations exclusively for women voters, 2 Vulnerable polling stations (Chandrapur/Jairolpokpi polling station) and 1 Critical (Lalpani polling station) .
Polling personnel bound for 40/16 Boroikhal polling station and 40/17 Babukhal polling station will have to travel by boat to reach their destinations.
State as well as Central forces were deployed in the respective polling station for peaceful conduct of the election.
Thoubal: Polling personnel who would be doing their duties at 265 polling stations in the 7 ACs falling under 2-OMPC in Thoubal district have left the dispersal point at Mini Secretariat, Thoubal today for their respective polling stations along with security personnel.
The total numbers of voters of the 7 ACs are 2,09,913 including six 3rd genders of which 1,01,316 are male and 1,08,591 are female voters.
14 out of 265 polling stations (two polling stations each in each segment) would be manned by around 140 women polling personnel only including women security personnel.
Altogether 465 vehicles including 62 buses, 397 magic vans and 6 wingers were used for election duties in the 7 ACs.
Senapati: Polling personnel of Senapati district for the 17th Lok Sabha election have been dispatched by Somorjit Salam, District Election Officer/DC Senapati at Mini Stadium to their respective polling stations along with security personnel starting from 7 am today.
Another 75 women polling personnel and 101 security personnel will be dispatched from 4 am tomorrow.
Altogether, 1100 polling personnel were dispatched for 220 polling stations for three assembly segments while 17 micro-observers have also been deployed for free, fair and smooth conduct of the election with highten security.
Kangpokpi: Altogether 810 polling personnel including women personnel for 162 polling stations were dispersed from Kangpokpi District HQ for polling in three Assembly Constituencies of Kangpokpi district.
It is reported that all the polling personnel have reached their respective polling stations safe and sound.
Altogether, 201 vehicles are used for carrying the polling personnel.
A total of 1,10,080 voters will cast their votes tomorrow for the 2-OMPC.Out of 162 polling stations, 3 polling stations in Kangpokpi AC- Salem, Yaikongpao and Tumnoupokpi have been identified as model polling stations and will be manned by women polling and security personnel.
