The proposed dam site is a seismic pronce zone and does not conform to the recommendation of World Commission of Dam.
The statement warned that the people would resort to democratic means of agitation if the project is not cancelled.
Meanwhile, Anal Naga Taangpi has also expressed shock that the condition of Pallel-Chandel and Sugnu-Chakpikarong roads remains pathetic.
The Taangpi also urged that if the BRTF is not in a position to repair and improve the roads before the onset of rainy season, one time relaxation for repair of the roads be given to the State's PWD in the larger interest of the general public.
