Forward Bloc remembers Netaji on 126th birth anniversary

All India Forward Bloc, Manipur State Committee celebrated the 126th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhaschandra Bose today at Sangrila Park in Heitupokpi of Imphal West district.
The programme began with floral tribute to the portrait of Netaji by Khomdram Gyaneshwor, secretary All India Forward Bloc MSC; Kshetrimayum Shanta, secretary CPI (M); Sarat Salam, secretariat member CPI (M); CPI secretary Laishram Sotin; Kangjam Manoranjan, RSP and Ningthoujam Kabita, president BSP as presidium member amongst other.
Speaking at the programme, Khomdram Gyaneshwor said the Nation has not given Netaji Subhaschandra Bose the recognition he deserved for his contribution in India's struggle for freedom from British Colonial rule.
He added that different Governments that have come and gone at the Centre have been unable to bring the India that Subhaschandra Bose, an India that has no place for petty politics based on caste, creed or religion and an India based scientific socialism.
There is a need for all of us to work together in order to realise the India that Netaji dreamt of, he added.
