Govindajee Sankritan urges

Like initiatives taken up by the State Government among sportspersons in the State, Shree Shree Govindajee Nat Sankritan, Palace Compound sought attention of the authority concerned to extend supports among the youths who are engaged in the promotion of Manipuri culture and tradition.
Speaking to the press, today morning, Sapam Narendra, publicity secretary of the Sankritan urged the State Government to develop a cultural policy so as to encourage the artists who are professionally engaged in the promotion of the Manipuri culture.
He maintained that the artists of the Sankritan would demonstrate Manipuri cultural programmes at the 13th Foundation day of Mahatma Gandhi Hindi University and during 33rd Indian Social Science Congress to be held at Maharastra on December 29 .
