Reacting to the news report that the vice chief of the PULF, Amir Khan was killed in a gun fight at Chandel on September 16, the outfit today clarified that he was not killed in a gun fight but was lured, trapped and later done to death by Assam Rifles.
In a statement, the outfit said that Amir Khan was killed after a plot was hatched between some traitors, arms dealers and some master minds.
The report that arms and ammu nition were recovered from him is totally baseless and without foundation, it added.
PULF has also warned some per sons to surrender to them within 5 days for violating its diktats.
The persons thus warned are Md Mujibur Rehman, K Allauddin, M Sikandar, N Allauddin.
They were charged of opening six rounds of gun fire at Lilong Turel Ahanbi on September 16.
