Manipur Network of Positive People (MNP+) and the State office Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Manipur in partnership with INP+ India plans a two days Peer Convention for almost 60 peer educators scattered across the state beginning this weekend at Synod Hall here.
To be organised as a component of Access to Care and Treatment (ACT) project under Global Fund Round IV, the convention is set in recognition and a motivation thereof for the many peer treatment educators trained and are working at community level in all the district, said organizers.
The event that will facilitate and honour selected peers educators for their commendable service is also aimed at recognizing the selfless and voluntary services of the educators.
They will have the chance to share their experience and learn from one another in their voluntary works, as well as disseminating awareness among the public.
