KVK organises training course

A 6-day training course on "Innovation in IFS Models and Rural Entrepreneurship" was inaugurated today at the conference hall of ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Imphal.
The programme was organised by organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Churachandpur, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre under the sponsorship by the Directorate of Veterinary Services, Government of Chhattishgarh.
The inaugural function was graced by Dr S Thoiba, Joint Director, Directorate of Veterinary Services and Animal Husbandry, Dr IM Singh, Joint Director In-Charge, Principal Scientist, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre and Dr Niranjan Lal, programme coordinator, KVK Churachandpur, ICAR Manipur Centre as presidium members.
Altogether, 20 Assistant Veterinary Field Officers from Directorate of Veterinary Services, Government of Chhattishgarh are participating in the training programme.
The training course contains 25 lectures which will be delivered by resource persons from ICAR, CAU, KVKs, Veterinary Department and 2 field visits.
During the inaugural programme, Dr L Babita Devi, ACTO Animal Science, KVK, Churachandpur gave the keynote address and highlighted that the main purpose of the training course is to train in areas of skill development for strategic policy formulation and implementation.
