Imphal, January 27:
Four Indians who were imprisoned in Myanmar for a long time have been freed today and handed over to Moreh police station, reports our correspondent.
They have been brought to Imphal.
The four Indian prisoners who have been freed today are identified as Lal Bahadur (35) s/o Anil Bahadur of Murshidabad, Uttar Pradesh, Md Hussain (40) s/o Puba Ali of Silchar Assam, Salamtuang (35) s/o Leinkhothang of Khangkhai village, Churachandpur and Mang Aijama s/o Talaidphanga of Champhai village, Mizoram.
All the four were apprehended by Myanmar military under its Passport Act.
