NIPCO spreads X'Mas wishes

Like every year, National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO) extended its warmth Christmas greetings to different villages located in the hill areas of the State.
On the Christmas Day, a team of the committee visited Sandang Senba Maring village and Tuikhang Aimol village and cherished the villagers of the said villages with the spirit of the holy festival.
As part of the venture, the team landed today at Thangal Surung and Keithelmanbi Kabui village.
While speaking at an occasion held at Thangal Surung village, Church president of NIPCO Khupler said that Christmas is a right time to get together of all communities living in the State to think over the protection of indigenous peoples' identity and to bring peace and harmony.
The occasion which was also rendered traditional dances and games, representatives of NIPCO also provided the Thangal Surung Village Church a sum of Rs 1000 along with Sugar and tea as Christmas gifts.
