One day orientation programme conducted at Don Bosco College

A one day orientation programme for Advance Learners was conducted by IQAC on January 22 at Brother James Memorial Hall, Don Bosco College with the participation of about 125 students.
The programme was organised to help students with their academic environment and role and align expectations to the values that the institution holds.
Vice principal Sr Cecilia Th giving the welcome speech compared the life of butterfly to that of students' where they mush undergo hardships and challenges in order to come out beautiful.
Following the welcome address, Rev Fr Shilanand Kerketta, COE, Don Bosco College Maram, (Autonomous) gave a talk on the 'Art of Writing'.
He gave an introductory talk on why the 'Art of writing' is important and how to develop good writing skills.
Succeeding that, Bijoy Bosumatary, IQAC coordinator gave a talk on 'Time management'.
He talked about the importance and how to manage our time effectively.
Arul Rozario, member of IQAC also guided the students with a talk on 'E Resources'.
He introduced the various 'E Resources' that the students can avail themselves with.
The students were divided into groups according to semester wise and had a discussion on their action plan for the future.
