LNKR (AMN) 'censures' its member from ZSUTD meeting

In a press release issued by General Secretary Th Masanbou, Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR) (AMN), it is mentioned that while referring to theelection notification of Zeliangrong Students' Union Tamenglong District (ZSUTD) on August 1, 2018 published in a local daily which says that the election will be on August 3 2018, the LNKR (AMN) 'censures' its member not to attend in any of ZSUTD meeting.
In the statement, they continued that the Government of, India has recognised Liangmai as a tribe on January 9, 2012 and that has modified Kacha Naga to Laingmai under Indian Constitution of (Scheduled Tribe) order 1950 .
In the statement, it is said that Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (AMN) has disassociated from Zeliangrong Students' Union after a resolution of Liangmai People's Convention was taken on October 9, 2015 at Konsaram Village.
LNKR (AMN) lamented that few individuals were still involved in Zeliangrong Students' Union unfortunately on their own vested interest without people mandate of the Liangmai community, the statement added.
On the demand of public of ZEME, LIANGMAI, and RONGMEI and its organisation, GPRN has recognised ZEME, LIANGMAI, and RONGMEI as separate Naga tribes.
Hence, it is irrelevant to use a conglomerate nomenclature of the 3 tribes any longer, LNKR (AMN) asserted.
In the statement LNKR (AMN) further warned its members not to attend ZSUTD meeting in any case while cautioning that its individual members will be held sole responsible of any consequences that may arise due to non-compliance of the statement.
