Meritorious students feted

Imphal, July 10 2016:
The All Manipur Students' Union, Singjamei branch, conducted a felicitation function at Singjamei Top community hall to recognise the achievements of top performers in the recently held class X and XII examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE today.
Khumanthem Daina, who secured the 24th place in the Civil Service Examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) was also feted at today's function.
Professor N Rajmuhon Singh, Department of Chemistry, MU; AMSU president Sanasam Subhachandra and IPS School, Canchipur, Vice-Principal Dr K Bheigyachandra Singh graced the felicitation function as presidium members.

Altogether, 50 meritorious students were feted at the function.
A similar function was held at Singjamei Oinam Thingel community hall today organised by the New Development Organisation of Singjamei.
The meritorious award was distributed in the memory of late Oinam Charly Singh sponsored by social worker Oinam Romen Singh.
Altogether 500 students were feted with cash award and a citation each at the function.
Councillors Ward no 15, 16 and 17 Th Bamkim, Th Eliza, and Laishangbam Lokeshor, Ward Members and academicians attended the felicitation function.
