2nd Law Breaking Day observed

The Rongmei Lu Phuam, Assam Manipur Nagaland (RLP, AMN) and JAC against Kabo Leikai forced Eviction observed the 2nd Law Breaking Day today at Tarung near, RNBA to mark the alleged forced eviction of Naga River Lane residents two years back by the Government of Manipur .
Speaking at the function, president of RLP, AMN Panti Golmei said that until justice is delivered to the victims, the Law Breaking Day will be observed every year.
Naga River Lane residents were evicted by the Govt in order to construct a 5 star hotel on May 20, 2013 .
Panti also appealed to all the people of the State to support and cooperate against such forced eviction so that it does not happen to any other villages in the State.
The observance function was also attended by Wungsim, village chairman, R Daneil senior Advocate, High Court of Manipur and churches leaders and affected residents.
