Imphal, July 25 2023: CPI Manipur State Council today staged a protest demonstration in front of Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat demanding a special session of the State Assembly so as to explore all possible means of bringing an end to the ongoing violent crisis.

Placards which read as "Spell out reasons for not convening a special session of the State Assembly", "Resolve Manipur crisis immediately", "Lift blockade on National Highway-2", "Eradicate poppy plantation", "No to Ethnic politics" etc were held during the protest.
