Under mysterious circumstances, a class X student of Little Flower School here was today found lying unconscious inside the toilet of the school with her hands and legs tied and mouth plastered.
Two other students of the school found her in that condition at around 11 am today.
Her legs were tied with a ribbon and the hands with the strap of a school bag from behind.
She was also blind-folded with a white ribbon and the mouth plastered.
She was found lying unconscious in that condition by two other students who had gone to the toilet after the selection test of class X of the school which began from today.
She was picked up by the teachers and later brought to the room of the headmistress of the school.
Mediapersons who went to the school on hearing the news, found the girl student in question staying inside the room of the headmistress with some other teachers.
At first, the girl student declined to say anything about the incident.
Only after some media-persons including women reporters entered the room along with her family members did she speak up.
She said, 'After coming from home, I went to the toilet to relieve myself.
After that I cannot remember anything'.
Family members of the girl student said that there was no instance of quarrelling in the family nor does she have any past history of suffering from mental problem.
It may be noted that along with examination of other classes, the selection test of class X students of the school for appearing in the forthcoming HSLC examination began from today with Mathematics.
The timing of the class X selection test was from 8.30 am to 11.30 am while for the rest of the other classes it was from 9 am to 11 am.
Promila, a teacher who was on duty in the examination hall of the class 10 students told media-persons that when she came to know that the girl in question was not sitting at her chair inside the examination hall, she asked one of the students who replied that the girl was not seen coming to the school.
So she thought the girl was absent.
