KCDO celebrates 10th MNCA Plate tourney title triumph, fetes team

Imphal, January 25 2026: The Kongpal Chanam Leikai Development Organisation (KCDO), Pukchaopat, Imphal East today celebrated their title victory at the 10th MNCA plate Tournament with a grand reception programme at its office.

Notably, KCDO showcased their remarkable fighting spirit to defeat IBSA, Yumnam Leikai by 18 runs to seal the title of the 10th MNCA Plate Tournament 2025-26 recently.

The championship team were skilfully guided by captain Phamdom Bikram who also served as the official manager and Toijam Dhiren as the KCDO representative and coordinator, said KCDO in a press release.

The reception programme of the team held this evening was led by Ksh Joychandra and KCDO executive members, it said.

Speaking at the occasion, former KCDO president Th Keshorjit Singh recalled the foundational step of KCDO becoming a member of the Manipur Cricket Association on December 30, 2019, a move that paved the way for today's success, it said.

As champions, KCDO were awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,20,000 along with the coveted Plate Trophy.

The event underscored the theme of "Celebrating Local Glory, Forging Future Legends," highlighting cricket's role in community development, it said.

The Kongpal Chanam Leikai Development Organisation (KCDO) is a community-focused organization dedicated to holistic local development, with a strong emphasis on nurturing sporting talent.

A member of the Manipur Cricket Association since 2019, KCDO continues to promote excellence and sportsmanship, it added.
