RCA, KSDO ease into semifinals of MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament

RCA and KSDO cruised into the semifinals of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25 with commanding quarterfinal victories on Saturday.
RCA sealed their semifinal berth in emphatic fashion, thrashing NCA by 10 wickets at the Khudeiband Lampak Taothang Ground.
Electing to bat first, NCA collapsed to a paltry 49 all out in just 20.2 overs, with only Ahenba Longjam (14) managing double figures in a dismal batting display.
RCA's bowlers ran riot, spearheaded by Farhan Ahmed's four-wicket haul.
He received ample support from Md Albas Khan (2 wickets), while Masud Alam, Albaz Hussain, and Lucky Ahmed chipped in with a wicket apiece.
In reply, RCA's openers made light work of the target, sealing victory in 9.2 overs without losing a wicket.
Albas Khan starred with an unbeaten 22, complemented by Farhan Ahmed's 12', as the duo guided their side to 50/0 with clinical efficiency.
KSDO joined RCA in the last four, overcoming AMCA by seven wickets in a one-sided encounter at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
AMCA, batting first, were skittled for 112 in 26.3 overs, despite a brief resistance from their middle order.
Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan wreaked havoc with 4 wickets, ably supported by Md Gunbas and Mujahir (two wickets each), while Shadik Israak Hussain claimed a solitary scalp.
In pursuit of 113, KSDO's chase was anchored by Zuneid Shah's composed 26*, with valuable contributions from Md Washim (18), Abu Sufiyan (14), and Kh Firdos (9*) .
The side reached 113/3 in 20.1 overs, sealing their semifinal place with ease.
