3rd IE Fencing Championship 2025 gets underway

Imphal, July 17 2025: The 3rd Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship 2025 commenced on Thursday at the Khuman Lampak fencing hall, with four events in the senior category kicking off the competition.

In the senior men's foil event, Kh Rajiv of YDO Club clinched the gold medal, while his clubmate W Roshan took silver.

The bronze medals were shared by S Washington (OLA Club) and Kh Yaiphaba (KHFA Club) .

In senior men's sabre, KHFA Club dominated the podium, with Mexi Thokchom taking gold and S Chingkheinganba securing silver.

Bronze medals went to L Bomcha Khuman (YDO Club) and A Thoinao Singh (SWC Club) .

The senior women's foil event saw Dayarani N of YDO Club capture the gold, while Kh Anjali Chanu (KHFA Club) earned silver.

H Bala Chanu (KHFA Club) and Nk Thamphasana (SWC Club) each took home bronze.

In the senior women's epee, Linthoi Haobam of UPAA Club emerged victorious with gold.

Silver went to Chingkheinganbi S of KHFA Club, while N Dibiya (KHFA Club) and Lanchenbi (SWC Club) received bronze.
