State team leaves for 1st Hockey India Masters Cup

Imphal, June 16 2025: Manipur Hockey's team for the 1st Hockey India Masters Cup 2025 departed Imphal on Monday for Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Manipur will start their campaign against Hockey Maharashtra on June 19, the second day of the tournament.

The state team has been placed in Pool C, alongside Hockey Chandigarh, and Hockey Maharashtra.

The team includes L Bishorjit Singh (goalkeeper), K Kirankumar Singh (goalkeeper), N Ranjit Meitei (defender), N Gunamani Meitei (defender), H Ahenta Sharma (defender), L Lolindro Singh (defender), L Rajeshwor Singh (defender), H Ramkumar (midfielder), L Ra-nachandra Singh (midfielder), N Sanjoy Singh (midfieder), Th Herojit Singh (midfielder), RK Bikramjit Singh (attacker), P Priyokumar Singh (attacker), Ksh Shantakumar (attacker), Th Birjit Singh (attacker), N Jiten Singh (attacker), S Tarunkumar Singh, and M Shantikumar Singh (attacker) .
