KNK outclass ELSA to clinch Moirang Super Division League 2024-25 title

Imphal, June 15 2025: KNK Keibul were crowned champions of the 5th Keisham Babu Memorial Super Division Football League 2024-25.They defeated ELSA Naranseina 3-0 in a one-side final on Sunday at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Ground, Moirang.

The match saw KNK take control early, with Arun-kumar opening the scoring in the 6th minute.

L Gouro extended their lead before halftime with a 31st-minute strike, and O Premchand put the result beyond doubt with a third goal.

A resolute defensive display ensured KNK kept a clean sheet, capping off a thoroughly convincing performance for a memorable title triumph.

The closing ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including MLA Bishnupur Govindash Konthoujam (chief guest), MLA Moirang Th Shanti Singh (president), and Utamkumar Ningthoujam, chairman of the Komol & Kumari Foundation (guest of honour) .
