Stage set for semis of 1st CYLC U-11 boys football tournament

Imphal, October 13 2025: The semifinal line up of the 1st CYLC 7-a-side football tournament for U-11 boys was completed today with Atiya FS, Golden FA, Keishing FA and RFC securing quarterfinal victories.

In the first quarterfinal match of the tournament being underway at Pishum Hao ground, Atiya FS outlasted NESU by 3-2 goals thanks to goals from Laishram Kenison (2'), Nongmaithem Maichel (5') and Akoijam Loya (11').Thoihenba (25', 29') scored both the goals for NESU.

In the second quarterfinal match, Leishemba's own goal helped Golden FA seal a 3-1 over Hiyai FA.

Mangalsana (25') and Achungba (28') were on target for Golden FA after Gitraj opened the scoring in the 6th minute and put Hiyai FA ahead.

In the third quarterfinal match, RFC sealed the 1-0 win against Dinku FA thanks to K Nganba's 28th minute strike.

Meanwhile in the last quarterfinal match, Keishing FA rode on goals from Amar (10'), Nelson (15'), Manithoiba (24') and Amin (27') to edge out Sangai FA whose Nirandra scored twice (26', 30') after Kemio found the opener in the 13th minute.
