CPC, MPSC-B record easy wins as KPS beat MPC in N Hazari State Polo Tournament

Imphal, March 11 2025: Chingkheihunba PC, MPSC-B, and Kangleipak Polo Star emerged victorious in Tuesday's matches at the 37th N Hazari & Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament 2025.Chingkheihunba PC delivered a dominant performance, securing a resounding 12-1 win over Samadon Polo Club.

They set the tone early, galloping to a commanding 4-0 lead in the first chukker, thanks to a hat-trick from M Bhupendrajit and a goal from A Basanta.

After a quieter second chukker, Chingkheihunba PC re-ignited their momentum in the third, with Leishemba Takhellambam netting four goals and Th Kaoba adding one.

Samadon PC managed to pull one back through M Jacky, but it was a mere consolation.

In the final chukker, Chingkheihunba PC sealed their emphatic victory with three more goals, courtesy of A Basanta, Kaoba, and Leishemba.

Meanwhile, MPSC-B cruised to a 13-7 victory over Arbin PC.

S Bimol was the standout performer, scoring an impressive seven goals, while S Abungcha contributed a hat-trick and H Abung Khuman added a brace.

T Pradeep also chipped in with a goal.

For Arbin PC, A Abung fought valiantly with four goals, supported by K Bonison's two goals and Ak Ibomcha's solitary strike.

In another fixture, Kangleipak Polo Star edged out Meiraba PC with a 5-3 win.

Ksh Naoba was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick, while A Bijoy and Prakash Bhandari added a goal each to secure the victory.

Despite efforts from L Lukhoi, L Mocha, and P Biky, who scored for Meiraba PC, it wasn't enough to overcome Kangleipak Polo Star's determined performance.
