KAYA Club launches Kabaddi coaching camp

Imphal, July 10 2025:
The first non residential Kabaddi coaching camp for boys and girls, organised by NAYA Club, Mongmailkhong, and sponsored by the Bishnupur District Kabaddi Association (BDKA), commenced on Thursday.
The 22-day camp, inaugurated under the auspices of the Manipur State Kabaddi Association (MSKA), aims to nurture young talent in the traditional Indian sport.
The opening ceremony was attended by Wangkhem Sabha Singh, social worker and co-founder of Extra Edge Imphal, as the chief guest.
Also in attendance were Ayekpam Jiten Singh, president of MSKA, Tongbram Bishorjit Singh, social worker, Salam Shyam Singh, proprietor of Omega Offset Press Imphal, Salam Samanda Meitei, special contractor, Salam Ingobi Meitei, social worker, Thounaojam Motilal Meitei, secretary of Manipur State Kabaddi Association, Labuktongbam Bimol Sharma, president of BDKA Bishnupur, Moirangthem Dilip Singh, retired SSB inspector, Haobijam Naba Singh, secretary BDKA, and Haobijam Hemeshwor Singh, vice-president BDKA.
Meanwhile, MSKA has announced plans to extend similar coaching camps to other affiliated districts across Manipur.
