YWC, TCMDC, SCC win big as PTCC beat KCC in MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament

YWC, TCMDC and SCC were easy winners in Sunday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25.YWC notched up a comprehensive 130-run victory over BKCC at Lairenjam Public Ground.
After being put in to bat, YWC posted a formidable total of 276/4, powered by a stellar 132 from Sayonba, along with key contributions from Seram Tondonsana (37), Daneil Seram (26*), Poreinganba Sapam (18) and Pukhrambam Bonison (17*).In response, BKCC managed 146/4 despite resilient efforts from Manganchaoba Irengbam (47*) and Thiyam Prabinson (44) .
YWC's disciplined bowling attack, led by Sayonba with two wickets, and supported by Seram Tondonsana and Kelvinson Khoisam with one wicket each, ensured a comfortable victory.
Kongba Dhobi Lampak, TCMDC dominated LCC with a convincing 134-run triumph at SEDOC Ground.
Batting first, TCMDC set a challenging target of 204/6 in 30 overs, with notable performances from Yumnam Tomthinnganba (83) and Sagolsem Bolyson (43).LCC struggled under pressure and were dismissed for just 70 in 24.4 overs.
Bolyson led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Nongshaba Sapam, Pibarel Khongbantanbam, Yumnam Tomthinnganba, Chandrashaker Sharma, Labuktongbam Veeraj Sharma, Niraj Sarangthem, and Kharibam Yohenba each claimed a wicket to seal an emphatic win.
At Khudeiband Lampak, SCC outclassed RNEF by 112 runs.
Opting to bat first, SCC posted a competitive total of 239/6, with Md Anash leading the charge with 89 runs, supported by Ajman (28), Aribam Farhad Suhail (27*), and Altamsh Sheik (20*) .
Their bowlers then restricted RNEF to 127 in 23.5 overs, with Altamsh Sheik delivering a match-winning spell, taking five wickets.
Sm Sofiyan provided crucial support with three wickets, while Md Anash added one to complete the comprehensive win.
In a low-scoring contest, PTCC edged past KCC by 17 runs.
PTCC were bundled out for 59 in 14.1 overs but staged a remarkable comeback with the ball, dismissing KCC for a mere 42 in 13 overs.
Lanngamba Ningombam produced a sensational spell, claiming seven wickets, while Harishor Mayngbam chipped in with two to guide PTCC to a hard-fought victory.
