Men's OD Trophy: YUCC, TRAU win; SCCC get walkover

Imphal, May 05 2025: YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel and TRAU, Kwakeithel defeated their respective opponents in league matches of the 3rd MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 on Monday, while SCCC, Singjamei got a walkover after no-show by KCC, Kongba Bazar.

Captain Rahulkumar Ningthoujam scored 52 runs of 67 balls and claimed two wickets to help YUCC beat Al-Ameen, Lilong by 54 runs at Lairenjam Public Ground.

Batting first, YUCC posted 191 in 39.1 overs courtesy of Rahulkumar and Rajbir Khumanthem(34 of 75).For Al-Ameen, Khulakpam Hanif claimed four YUCC scalps as Umar three accounted for three wickets.

YUCC bowlers led by Laishram Bidyashwor Singh (three wickets), Loitongbam Joychand (two wickets) and Shresth Oinam, Rajbir Khumanthem and Ningthoujam Thoungamba Meitei (one wicket apiece) bundled out Al-Ameen for 137 in 34.2 overs to win the match.

Maibam Ashique (38 of 29) was the top scorer for Al-Ameen.

At Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal district, Gurumayum Shivestian Sharma (46 of 33 and six wickets) and captain Mutum Swabhiman (42 of 35 and three wickets) starred in TRAU's 69-run victory over FORCE, Kshetrigao, despite captain Naeem scoring 42 runs off 31 balls and picking four TRAU wickets.
