State quartet selected for wheelchair basketball camp in Visakhapatnam

Imphal, July 03 2025: Four players from the state have been selected for a national coaching camp conducted by the Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India (WBFI) .

The camp will take place in Visakhapatnam from August 4 to 30, 2025 in preparation for an international event.

The four players selected for the national camp are Chakpram Lokeshwori Devi (Singjamei), Maimom Gunibala Devi (Haorang Khunou Warok Khunou), Irengbam Ritu Chanu (Irengbam Makha Leikai), and Nahakpam Ratana Devi, according to a press release from the Wheelchair Basketball Association Manipur (WBAM) .

Meanwhile, WBAM will conduct a non-residential coaching camp on July 20 to 24, 2025, at Singjamei Hao Ground in preparation for the 9th National Wheelchair Basketball Championship 2025, scheduled to take place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from September 1 to 10 .
