CRPF organises U-19 Kho-Kho Tournament in Bishnupur district

Imphal, October 28 2025: An U-19 Kho-Kho Tournament organised by the 15 7 Bn CRPF under aegis of Inspector General of CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) under the "Khelo India" initiative, commenced yesterday at Chandpur playground, Keibul Lamjao, Bishnupur District.

Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 32 Bn CRPF (officiating DIG), inaugurated the event as chief guest, emphasizing the significance of sports in fostering a healthy lifestyle, youth engagement, and community harmony.

A statement issued by the 157 Bn CRPF quoted him as saying- "Such tournaments bring communities together and give young talent an opportunity to shine".

Arun Kumar Commandant, 157 Bn CRPF was also present at the ceremony, ensuring smooth coordination of the event.

A total of eight teams from across the district are participating in the tournament.

The tournament will continue until October 29 .
