Imphal, July 28 2025: The 12th Imphal East District Shooting Competition 2025 organised by Imphal East District Rifle Association (IEDRA) at MRA Shooting Range, Taothang, Lamsang from July 25 ended on Monday.

Dhanraj Thokchom won four gold medals in 10 metre air rifle men individual events with championship score of 379 points in men, junior, youth and sub-youth competitions, while Nongmaithem Jubaraj Singh (369) secured the silver medal in men and junior events.

In the same competition, silver medals were won by Oinam George Khuman (263) in youth and Albert Laikhu-ram (308) in sub-youth, while bronze medals went to Mayangbam Surjit Singh (216) in junior, Ningombam Ricky Singh (229) in youth and Nongmaithem Bikash Singh (307) in sub-youth.

Sweety Ningthemcha (379) also won four gold medals in 10 metre air rifle individual women event (women, junior, youth and sub-youth) with new district records in youth and sub-youth.

Lourembam Binarani Chanu (254) won the silver medal and Mareem Angel Chothe (217) bagged the bronze medal in 10 metre air rifle individual women event.

In 10 metre pistol men's individual, Amakcham Yohenba Meitei (365) won the gold medal, Pangambam Kunjabihari (361) silver and Ashem Kennedy (341) bronze.

Gurumayum Prithiviraj Sharma (345) bagged the gold medal, Joel Moirangthem (341) silver and Ashem Jupiter (329) bronze in 10 metre pistol junior individual category.

G Prithiviraj Sharma also clinched the gold med al in youth 10 metre pistol event, followed by Joel Moirangthem in second place and Henthoiba Sapam (326) securing the third position.

Joel Moirangthem broke the district record in sub-youth category en-route to bagging the gold medal, while Henthoiba Sapam secured the silver medal and Wangkhem Tomthin Meitei (316) finished third.

In 10 metre pistol women individual, Nongthombam Rojy (234) secured the gold medal, Thiyam Angel (180) silver and Potsangbam Daina Devi (139) bronze, while in junior category, the gold medal went to Irenbam Thadoi Mangang (214) and silver to Khagembam Alegina Devi (24).Laishram Pinku (318) won the gold medal, Jayarani Haobijam (253) silver medal and Salam Criza Chanu (206) the bronze medal in 10 metre pistol youth competition, while the gold medal in the sub-youth event was bagged by Laimujam Khristina Devi (201) .

G Shyamkanhai Sharma (299) won the gold medal in 10 metre pistol senior master men individual event and Pangambam Kunjabihari created a new district record to wrest the gold medal in masters' men category with Ashem Kennedy settling for the silver medal and G Shyamkanhai Sharma the bronze medal.

In licence gun 12 bore shotgun men individual, Leimapokpam Dinachandra Singh (46) won the gold medal, Thokchom Hiranjit Singh (29) the silver medal and Narumbam Ramesh-wor (25) the bronze medal, while Kolom.Rojima Chanu (10) secured the gold medal in women individual event.

Leimapokpam Dinachandra Singh (27) also won the gold medal in licence gun .22 bore pistol/revolver men individual event.

In licence gun .32 bore and above bore pistol/revolver men event, the gold medal was bagged by Usham Tarun-kumar Singh (30) and silver by G Shyamkanhai Sharma (24), with the bronze medal awarded jointly to Ashem Kennedy (20) and Manoharmayum Barish Sharma (20) .
