AKSDO, FORCE register commanding victories in MNCA Women's T20 Trophy

Imphal, May 28 2025: AKSDO and FORCE enjoyed commanding victories in the 3rd MNCA Women's T20 Trophy 2024-25 on Wednesday.

AKSDO delivered a clinical performance to defeat AL-AMEEN by 8 wickets in their meeting SEDOC Ground, Dhobi Lampak.

AL-AMEEN, opting to bat first, were bundled out for a meagre 62 in 17 overs, with only captain Najiya Begum (42' off 44) offering resistance.

Thokchom Langlen Chanu (3/9) and Daina Moirangthem (2/10) starred with the ball for AKSDO.

Chasing a modest target, AKSDO reached 65/2 in just 8.1 overs, courtesy of Daina Moirangthem's unbeaten 34 off 25 balls, which included 5 fours and a six.

Langlen Ningthoujam (15' off 16) provided steady support as AKSDO sealed the win with ease.

The other match saw FORCE beat PTCC by 51 runs at THAU Ground.

Batting first, FORCE posted a competitive total of 145/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to a stellar unbeaten 58 off 37 balls by Neha, who was well-sup-ported by Barkatun Khanam (31 off 25).PTCC's bowlers struggled to contain the flow of runs, with Khundrakpam Anjali Devi (1/23) being the most economical.

In response, PTCC (W) faltered, collapsing to 94 all out in 19.4 overs.

E Firdos Hasina was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 wickets for just 6 runs, while Khadija (2/25) and Farjiya (1/8) provided crucial breakthroughs.

Laishram Bigyapati Devi top-scored for PTCC with 18, but it wasn't enough to challenge FORCE'S total.
