PTCC, REYS, SCCC, MODEL prevail in MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy

PTCC, REYS, SCCC and MODEL all triumphed in Tuesday's 5th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy matches.
PTCC overpowered CRAU by 58 runs in their league clash at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Opting to bat first, PTCC posted a competitive total of 157/5, thanks to a blistering knock from captain Andy Mandingbam, before their bowlers dismantled CRAU for just 99 in 17.3 overs.
PTCC's innings was anchored by Mandingbam, who smashed 83 off just 44 balls, including 4 fours and 7 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 188.64.He was well-supported by G Gomi Sharma (35 off 34) and Abit Hijam (21* off 22), as PTCC set a challenging target.
CRAU's Lamabam Ajay Singh (2/15) and Heishnam Joyhenba Meitei (1/25) were the pick of the bowlers, but the rest struggled to contain the onslaught.
In reply, CRAU's chase never gained momentum, crumbling to 99 all out.
Only Lamabam Ajay Singh (27 off 28) and Ayekpam Rakesh Singh (21 off 18) offered resistance, while PTCC's bowlers shared the spoils.
Loukrakpam Anao Singh starred with 3/14, backed by Gemson Mutum (2/18) and Sohail Akram (2/27) .
The early dismissals of CRAU's top order left them reeling, and they were eventually bundled out with 15 balls to spare.
SCCC beat KCC by 20 runs at Model Hr Sec & Oriental College Ground.
Opting to bat first, SCCC posted a modest total of 104 / 8 in their 20 overs, with notable contributions from Ulenyai Khwairakpam (20 off 15) and Moirangthem Thomas Singh (16 off 21).KCC's bowlers, particularly Rakeshwor Republic Hidangmayum (3/13) and Moirangthem Thomas Singh (2/11), kept the scoring in check.
In response, KCC struggled against SCCC's disciplined bowling attack, managing only 84/8 in their 20 overs.
Nongmaithem Dijaraj Singh (26 off 39) top-scored for KCC, but it wasn't enough as SCCC's bowlers sealed the win.
MODEL registered an 18-run victory over MPSC at Mojjing Public Ground.
Batting first, MODEL posted a formidable 184/5, thanks to a blistering 85 off 38 balls by captain Langlonyamba Singh M, which included 3 fours and 8 sixes.
Soubam Kingson Singh (79 off 53) led MPSC's chase valiantly, but they fell short at 166/6, with Robertson Singh Laishram (2/29) and Dibak Naorem (1/22) playing key roles for MODEL.
At Khudeiban Lampak, REYS outplayed ESU by 45 runs.
REYS posted 163/4, powered by Ringku Kangujam's explosive 48 off 22 balls and Md Basir Rahman's steady 45 off 35.ESU's reply crumbled under pressure, bowled out for 118 in 17.2 overs, with Kiran Laishram (2/19) and Ringku Kangujam (2/18) starring with the ball.
