Sepaktakraw players head to Haryana for National camp

Imphal, January 27 2026:
Selected Sepak Takraw players from Manipur have left the State today to attend the National Coaching Camp at SAI, NRC-Sonepat, Haryana.
The camp that began today (January 27) will run till February 20, 2026 .
The preparatory camp for the Asian Games 2026 and other international championships is being organised with the sanction of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Sports Authority of India (SAI) .
The contingent include three male players- Mayengbam Ashok, Kh Holendro and S Malemganba and four female players- Oinam Chaoba, Kh Daina, K Poni and Mayengbam Jeny, along with coach P Durjit.
STFI Secretary General Naresh Kumar said the National coaching camp is an important step in strengthening India's Sepaktakraw preparations for upcoming international events, including the Asian Games 2026 .
