Six make cut in "10 km run in 34 minutes challenge"

Imphal, October 26 2025: Six athletes were able to complete the 10 km Run in 34 minutes challenge hosted by the Manipur Running Team today under the aegis of the Athletics Association of Manipur.

Mutum Mukta of Leiphrakpam Awang Leikai was the fastest in the challenge as he clocked 31:39.75 (31 minutes 39.75 seconds) followed by Gainingthui Malangmei of Pongringlong Charaipangdongba in the second place with 31:58.38 .

Finishing third in the challenge was Longjam Kalanjoy of Naorem Chaprou Awang Leikai, who took 32:01.92 to complete the course, as Ringhorsen Muinao and Thotngacheirin Hunphun Luiyi, both from Thawai village fifth fourth and fifth taking 32:21.89 and 32:53.52 .

Litan Makhong also made it to the achievers' list as he clocked 33:19.67 to finish 6th .
